So as a few of you know iv tried several different bikes to have as an indoor/spare but none of them felt as nice as my GP2 so decided to stick with what I know and like and here she is.
Bought it off gumtree from some fella who rides at Cheddar and Craig Tees the super star picked it up for me and brought on to whilton at the last round. So thanks again Craig 👍😃.
Its bit of an odd ball 911 with standard front end, gp2 swing arms and what looks to be a grc rear wheel/hub and brake. It's got a 4.2 motor and 6.2 pipe, this will be getting swapped out for a 6.2 motor and proddy pipe. Iv also got a new front end to go on that I had in the shed. Hopefully should be a fairly cheap build.

Looks better in the flesh than it did in the Gumtree pics Dan - really pleased for you

It's great that you are sticking with what you actually like riding (regardless if it's fairly old or not) and not just following the usual 'sheep' route - I wish more people would do that.

What does it run like? Have you had it fired up yet?

I'm trying to put normal wheels on my 'small wheel' 910 project at the moment - would you happen to have a spare set of yokes now that I could buy off you that would allow that?

Iv not had chance to run it up or do anything at the moment as we got a puppy last weekend a she has kept us well occupied this week. Hoping to get in the shed for an hour this weekend

Thanks guys - I'll drop you a message about the yokes/forks etc

Loving the Dog Dan! I hope he/she has a suitably macho name?? We had a tiny little yorkie when I was a lad named Rocky :twitchy:

By the way Dan - how do you keep your nails looking so nice? You must have to be extra careful when you're working on the bikes??? lol

I'm sure the wife will find some bling bits for her lol. And she don't run on fuel just pure crazy!

Her official name is Moncho Melt, the wife calls her Maggie but I call her Moggie Mauler. So its Maggie Moncho Melt the Moggie Mauler :)

Anyway we are dirty sweaty men no a bunch of girls let's talk engines!

The soothing sounds of Formula 1 sent the wife and puppy to sleep today so managed to sneak off to the shed for a bit. I got the new front end all bolted and looks shiny.

After a little more looking it is def a GP2 chassis because of the rear mudguard mounts and the steering damper bolt holes

I pulled the rear wheel out to clean things up and found a right mess.

Trying to work out whether the wheel/hub combo that has been fitted to the rear is Polini or GRC. This hub is 110mm wide and the hole in the centre of the wheel is approx 42mm.

Looks to me like a PMT billet rim & GRC RR hub

I managed to out the mess of the rear hub and straighten out the bolt holes. I also took a little off the back side so I could nut and bolt the sprocket on.
