had to cheat a little with the front fairing due to lack of time just bought a nose cone of a Louis Christian racing f1 sidecar from ebay just need to trim it a little and get the crappy paint off it measures 1600 mm long and 450mm wide as any one else tried this solution 5347

We've all done it over the years what you doing about covering the chair wheel build up a lip all the way around the opening for the rider or it will rub and cut you when your thrashing around the track good luck keep the pics coming its good to see new things it's the only way forward

53495350just managed to get the rest of the complete fairing, going to chop down the original chair fairing down to size, have fitted the rear section to the back of the nose cone starting to take shape 5348taking to my mates body shop at the weekend where he is going to paint it and put a roll top on the top edge of the fairing

Get some up next week getting frame bronze welded at our other garage

just holding out got a rm 85 engine lined up I am swapping a full 1980 rm 80 for it still got micks number if this falls through already got engine mounts to fit the rm engines

Are you starting to build a new one. Or you modding last years outfit dude I'll be able to sell you a bodywork and seat unit soon lol

Chopping up supertanker again Stu. Not building a new one til we have our current outfit the way we want it, want the new one to be more or less right from the off, supertanker is the test bed for experiments.

As for bodywork the current plan is still to build our own bodywork around our outfit instead of buying a nice new one and having to chop it about, it'll be a fun project too. Will let you know when the plan has all gone tits up then!

guy who I got body work from said it was mid 80`s around 86 ish just removing some of the paint and old repairs found a piece behind the seat section saying made in Belgium .if I can remember correctly lcr`s are made in Switzerland so I have got 2 pieces of body work with different nationally so its a bit of a mix I would say

just been given this link to some more fairings on ebay may be worth a look item number 121281236537 he has 3 for sale with no bids sorry cant make link work if anybody fancy`s cutting one down

Yer lcr s are Swiss you gonna cut it up stick it together then take a new mold off it cos it will be to heavy otherwise be good to see it all back together mines been a real pain in the a.............e

Houston we have a problem
