went to croydon in london today rode on track today not a big track but flat and quick just ashame you only get 2hours if it was alittle more time on the track people may be bothered to go also it s got space on the in field to make the track a little bigger with a few more corners but all said and done its a nice surface and fun to ride if there are a few of you riding but dont be put off by the 2 hrs because you can stay on on the track for the whole time if you had a big enough tank ha!. give it a try its only 20.

If you mean you rode at "Traq" just outside Croydon, try going on a Wednesday evening. Its 4-9 pm for £20 and a few go. I agree with what you say about the field next to it, certainly room for expansion.

Shep0479 youd be better off going to Angmering, they open on weekday for practice. Its a much more challenging track and for 20 you can ride all day. There is a race down there this weekend if you can make it.

I'll think I will. I usually go to hully, I take it 6/71 is ok for angering?

Just looked at details. I'll definetly be there on sat. I run a ac 4.2 so hope to be slightly competitive with others in the same class. New to it tho so its a great chance for me to learn off of others. Thanks for info shep.

I don't have a shorter chain for my 66. Is the track twisty or mainly straights?

Ike75
03-11-2011, 03:43 PM
Straights????? Its all twisty...lol. Almost got one longish straight and the rest is lefts and rights. Start with your 6/71, if you need to shorten the chain just take out a link.

Yeah I'm sure someone will have a split tool. I'm still gonna go. Just have to push it through the corners lol.

there are plenty of chain spliters in the pits, :) I have one if you just head for the bright red gazebo..... I'll be able to sort it out for you..... but try the 6/71 first. :)

Does anyone still go to Croydon Traq?

I went over to Croydon yesterday morning and had the track to myself, for my first run on the new bike, for a good hour before some karts turned up and we shared the session. The kart guys said they had seen a guy riding a mini moto a couple of weeks ago. Apparently there used to be 20 bikes riding there every weekend. Be good to see a few more riders there.
