Talked to beccels today about parking and overnight camping for the first round of the semrc,
They are spliting the carpark into 5mtr by 3mtr bays which will be 10 for the weekend and they are taking bookings now.
think its the same price if you park outside.

Yes, sadly there has to be a camping charge, the reason for this is the land-lord by all accounts [according to the info from Sian], however, I don't think £10 is the end of the world, and of course, it's better than having to move off site over-night and go to a camp-site [which you would be charged for anyway!].

its 10 for a 5.5mtr by 3mtr bay for the weekend friday and saturday, parking and camping, the bay is yours for the 2 days. you must be able to get all your kit (carvan, tents, gazbo, etc) and car in the bays you buy so you need to make sure you measure up and get enough bays.

thats a rip off if you dont mind me saying....my race caravan is 7.2 metres long and 2.3 metres wide + awning + car...that is going to be about 5 bays...£50 to PARK!....they are having a bubble...thought this was supposed 'cheap'

Thats business for you....you keep 4 other people from paying £10 each, where are the track supposed to get the money from?

Give the track a ring...maybe it's not £50

I'm sure Sian's approach will be sensible, I doubt that everybody with a big set up will be hit with a £50 bill, so talk to her.....it's more constructive than speculating that you are going to be "ripped off".

You could of course park the F1 style motorhome awning caravan and car out on the runway for nothing?

£50 or £0 go figure.....

Its 10 for a designated space inside the paddock, but still 10 to camp out on the runway, you just get more room.:)

Hmmm, or it's free to stay at my mum and dads house like I did last year. Foods not bad either!

Still, the rest of you can freeze yer knackers off for all I care! :)
