Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Dropping the kids off with the bikes, then doing a 3 day 'Booze Cruise' through France. It would be rude not to.....

Then again the Bernie Hook/ Gary poker school is looking good, so maybe we'll stay in Blighty for that

What is Lydd like as a track anybody??

is it really??? whilton seems much bigger than lydd, lydd is a great track very technical and a quality bump that you get air off of :D

I think you'll find it's gonna be run in a clockwise direction.

each time i have been there it was Anti clock for the bikes and clockwise for the karts, last years round there was run anticlock as well

It IS beign run Clockwise ;) . If you have a look on SussexMinimoto, you'll find that Phil from Lydd has said that Scotty wanted them to run the circuit clockwise

gdgd prefer right handers

Lewis Taylor#7
17-07-2006, 04:59 PM
ooooo i prefer left handers :( what i cant understand is why they would do it clockwise after doing all the practises anti clockwise

I should think its because of the large grids if you run it clockwise you can take out the first flip flop at the start and get a decent run to the first corner then you put the flip flop back in plus clockwise is the way the track was designed to be run its just as fast and more places to overtake.

Phoenix Racing
18-07-2006, 10:06 AM
Duc996 is correct....it is a clockwise circuit, we will only run the way a circuit was designed to run for safety reasons [marshal posts and other track "furniture"]....also, given our grid sizes, as has been mentioned, it is much safer to start by-passing the chicane, which then get's put back in for the remainder of the race.

dam, i like left handers only coz i can't get my knee down on right handers :(

Phoenix Racing
18-07-2006, 11:50 AM
Answer is simple......practice on more clockwise circuits!

nsrkid
18-07-2006, 01:11 PM
Also running it clockwise means that nearly everyone willl be new to it as most practise days there are run anti clockwise, so there will be closer racing. Cant wait...
